About
Arun Joseph Ragan spent his awkward larval years in a series of Southern states before moving to the voluptuous garden of Portland Oregon. Here he found the intricately interwoven family of dancers, devotees, Devas and Daemons that encourage his perpetual process of mutation.
The fabrics shown here were all printed by Arun with images that he drew by hand. These icons were inspired by the pantheon of forces that animate the many worlds within and around us, as they reveal themselves through one peculiar nervous system.
The intention of this work is to invoked the presence of the deeper and higher realms of conscious vitality within the viewer. Thus they are used to adorn temples of dance, ritual, bodywork, bodyplay, healing, creativity or entheogenic journey.
This is an invitation to all who feel drawn to these images and the energies that they convey. There are several ways to connect with Arun’s work.
If you would like to have him decorate an event with banners or a full installation/array of fabric-art, that is certainly possible.
If you would like to commission a set of fabrics for your home, temple, healing sanctuary, dance-space or journey-zone, Arun is very open to co-creating with your vision.
For those who would simply like some fabrics from those already existing, a shop is provided with available items.
May they encourage a fuller celebration and appreciation of the manyfold wonders of the Garden Of Delights.
